Ignoring insults......that really IS low. I wouldnt necessarily think someone from the USA was uptight or stupid for misunderstanding any given "street term". That's what cultural sharing is all about........but of course, lots of Americans notoriously don't travel (I AM NOT saying ALL)so it may not occur to many to interpret the mistake as a cultural one, as opposed to a lack in the individual. What is SO bad about questioning something you think is offensive anyway, right or wrong?
